To honor the legacy of Jaya Skincare’s origins which is rooted in Indian tradition and passed down through generations (original formular created by the Founders Grandmother) by developing a refreshed visual identity and packaging system that bridges ancestral wisdom with a modern, elevated aesthetic. The goal is to position Jaya as a natural skincare brand rooted in simple, effective ingredients and time-honored rituals—celebrating heritage, purity, and intention through thoughtful, modern design.

THE VISION

BRAND & IDENTITY

I led the development of a Rebrand of Jaya Skincare, including a refined logo and a vibrant jewel-toned color palette inspired by Indian heritage and grounded in natural, earth-based ingredients. The visual system featured custom typography, iconography, and motifs drawn from traditional Indian saree patterns, blending modern minimalism with rich cultural elements. 

PACKAGING

I led the packaging design, including custom label layouts, original iconography, and a visual system inspired by Indian heritage.

The mango, lotus and buti motifs were inspired by saree patterns, while the jewel-toned color palette drew from the rich hues commonly found in traditional Indian sarees as well.

The final design system thoughtfully integrated cultural motifs, color symbolism, and rich textures to create a packaging experience that felt both elevated and deeply rooted in tradition.

Sustainability by Design

For Jaya Skincare, sustainability was the foundation. From concept to final product, every design decision was made with the planet (and the people) in mind.

We printed through Wild Kind Packaging to use 100% compostable packaging, ensuring that each pouch not only stands beautifully on display but also leaves minimal impact after use. Our packaging is plant-based, aligning with Jaya’s clean, conscious ingredient list. Both product and package are rooted in nature.

Every detail—from the material to the message was crafted to reflect a brand that’s gentle on skin, and even gentler on the planet.
